** Saint Potential: $45K Black Friday Weekend with SMS **

Overview

TO START OFF: We revamped the store layout, simplified navigation, and optimized product pages for conversions. Clean visuals and clear CTAs made the customer journey frictionless.

For Black Friday 2021, At the time we weren't officially “Rueger” but I was a freelancer helping out other brands on the side while I was running my own. Saint Potential (Ran by Asa jagger) was centering the campaign around their Yankees and Braves shorts and promoting an irresistible “Buy 3 for $100” bundle deal. With SMS as the driving force, the campaign generated $45,000 in sales over one weekend.

The Challenge
Saint Potential had built a strong streetwear presence but hadn’t yet cracked the formula for maximizing holiday events. Previous drops were successful, but without a direct and segmented communication channel, customers often missed out or delayed purchases. The mission was clear: make Black Friday unavoidable for their audience and drive urgency toward a simple, high-value offer.

Our Approach

Product Focus
We zeroed in on Yankees and Braves shorts, two designs with proven demand and mass appeal. By keeping the spotlight narrow, we made sure all messaging stayed clear and direct.
Bundle Offer
We built the campaign around one killer deal: Buy 3 for $100. This not only boosted AOV (average order value) but created a sense of exclusivity—customers knew this deal wouldn’t last past the weekend.
SMS Execution
We segmented Saint Potential’s SMS list into VIPs, repeat buyers, and new subs. Each group received tailored texts with sharp copy, timed drops, and urgency triggers (“SALE LAST FOR 24 HOURS ONLY”).
Momentum Sync
SMS blasts were aligned with social pushes and ad campaigns so that the offer dominated every channel. Whether customers saw an ad, a reel, or a text, the message was consistent: Black Friday = 3 for $100 shorts.

The Results
The numbers speak for themselves:$45,000 in total Black Friday weekend sales

SMS accounted for the majority of conversions, delivering some of the highest CTRs we’ve seen across campaigns

Average order value jumped significantly thanks to the bundle deal

The Yankees and Braves shorts became instant sell-out items, fueling organic hype well beyond the weekend
